Dallape gramophone, 1930-

Nordell & Koskinen also manufactured the portable gramophone, Dallape, from the beginning of the year 1930 on. All its parts, apart from the motor and the cartridge had been acquired from Finnish manufacturers.

Nordell & Koskinen sold gramophone records and needles too. The suitcase-like casing was lined with imitation leather and it came in a variety of colours. According to the catalogue “Dallape was a perfectly first-class portable gramophone that had a powerful, yet soft sound. The appearance and proportions are most successful”. At the price of 1600 Fmk Dallape was notably cheaper than foreign gramophones.
