Salora Safir, 1963

Safir was Salora’s first self-made portable radio whose technology and appearance were manufactured under licence. It wasn’t just a portable radio – it was a universal radio. It could be connected to a record player and an additional loudspeaker. It could also be used as a car radio. Salora had used the latest sound technology of the radio industry in Safir and its range of sound was 45-18000 Hz. Low and high sounds could be tuned separately. The radio weighed 2,95 kg and cost 310 Fmk.
