Colours took over the television as disco music took over the dance floors. The remote control was a newcomer. At the beginning of the 1970's Salora exported 70% of their television sets. Salora's radio manufacturing came to an end in 1972 and after that the company concentrated on stereos. Car radiophones were also manufactured in the 1970's. At the end of the decade Nokia Oy and Salora Oy established Mobira Oy, a radiophone factory.

Salora Hifi-stereo 6000, 1976-77

Salora Hifi stereo 6000 was Salora’s first large stereo combination that had a tape recorder and a record player, in addition to the receiver. This high-quality combination was the flagship of Salora’s stereo collections. It had a turning front panel and therefore it was easy to use. Salora KS 330 loudspeaker was designed especially for the stereo. Altogether 10 000 pieces of different versions (6000, 6000A, 6000 Cassette) of Salora Hifi stereo 6000 were manufactured.
